    Yeast, rolls- Dilled Honey-Wheat Rolls

    List of Ingredients




    1 package dry yeast
    1/2 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees F)
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1 (12-ounce) carton cream-style cottage cheese
    3 tablespoon honey
    1 tablespoon instant minced onion
    2 teaspoons dill seeds
    1 teaspoons salt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 egg, beaten
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 cups all-purpose flour

    Recipe



    Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes. Combine butter and cottage cheese in a large bowl; stir well. Add yeast mixture and remaining ingredients except flour; beat 1 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer. Gradually stir in flour.
    Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead 5 to 7 minues until smooth and elastic. Place in a well-greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees F),free from drafts, 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
    Punch dough down; shape into twenty-four 1 1/2-inch balls. Arrange in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; cover and let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 to 18 mnutes. Yield 2 dozen.
