    Breakfast Sausage Casserole

    1 pound bulk pork sausage

    10 eggs

    1 cup milk

    3/4 teaspoon salt

    1 ½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

    1 ½ cups packaged garlic flavored croutons

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a large skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Drain off fat. Put sausage in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. In a large bowl, beat the eggs; stir in the milk, salt, and cheese. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake, uncovered, for 45 to 50 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Yield: 6-8 servings.
