Fresh Orange Filling for Cake
List of Ingredients
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
/12 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons grated orange peel
2 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter or margarineRecipe
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar with cornstarch and salt.
2. Gradually stir in orange juice and 1/2 cup water; over medium heat, bring to boiling, stirring. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
