Pie- Fudge Brownie

1/2 cup margarine or butter
2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash salt
Fudge ice-cream topping
Mint chocolate-chip ice cream or other desired flavor ice cream
Recipe
In a medium saucepan melt the margarine or butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. (Or, in a large microwave-safe mixing bowl micro-cook margarine or butter and chocolate, uncovered, on 100% power (high) for 3 to 4 minutes or till melted, stirring once.) Cool slightly.
Stir in eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Pour mixture into a greased and flour 9-inch pie plate. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven about 30 minutes or till a slight imprint remains when touched in center. Cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
To serve, warm the ice-cream topping according to package directions. Top pie with desired ice cream and drizzle with warmed topping. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings.
