Make Ahead Poppyseed Chicken
List of Ingredients
4 to 5 chicken breasts, boiled
and cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 ozs. sour cream
1 Tbsp. poppyseeds
2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
1/4 to 1/2 stick butter
Recipe
Combine chicken, soup, sour cream and poppyseeds. Transfer to a zipper-lock freezer bag. Freeze flat.
To prepare, defrost thoroughly and transfer to a greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Top with crackers mixed with melted butter. Cook at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
(Do not refreeze any leftover portion because the chicken had already been frozen, and quality will suffer.)
