Bar- Chocolate Pecan Bars
List of Ingredients
1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 eggs
1 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
Recipe
Line 9 X 13-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil or parchment paper, extending about 1 inch above sides of pan. Press cookie dough evenly onto bottom of pan. Bake in 350 degree F. oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes; spread chocolate evenly over crust. In large bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients except pecans until very well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Loosen edges from foil. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Use foil to lift out of pan. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.
