Chinese- Chrysanthemum Pork Balls
List of Ingredients
Makes 6 servings
1 pound ground pork
6 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup shiitake mushrooms, chopped
1/4 cup shrimp, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger
Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons oil
1 egg, beaten
Recipe
Mix together in a bowl the pork, green onions, mushrooms, shrimp, ginger, salt and pepper. Roll into little balls.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the balls for 8 to 10 minutes.
In a clean pan, heat remaining oil, pour in the beaten egg and spread across the pan into one thin layer, frying until it is firm enough to slice. Remove the egg to a cutting board and allow to cool. Shred and form the egg pieces into a flower petal shape.
Place meatballs on top of the eggs and decorate with chrysanthemum greenery.
