    Ham Patties with Sour-Cream Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups ground cooked ham
    2 tablespoons grated onion
    1/2 cup packaged dry bread crumbs
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
    1 teaspoon prepared mustard
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoon shortening
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1/4 cup boiling water
    1 cup dairy sour cream

    Recipe



    1. Lightly toss ham, in large bowl, with onion, bread crumbs, eggs, 1 tablespoon parsley, mustard, and salt until well combined.
    2. Shape into 6 patties
    3. Heat shortening in large skillet, over medium heat. Brown patties well on both sides.
    4. Transfer to serving platter; keep warm.
    5. Add paprika to boiling water. Pour into skillet; bring to boiling, stirring, until paprika is dissolved.
    6. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly.
    7. Spoon sour-cream sauce over ham patties. Sprinkle with remaining parsley.
