Cherry Dream Salad

1 (1 pound) can dark or light sweet cherries, pitted
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
Dash salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup pecan halves, broken
1 cup miniature marshmallows
Recipe
Drain cherries and pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup combine syrups. Combine egg, fruit syrups, lemon juice, sugar and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and fold in sour cream. Cool. Combine mixture with cherries, pineapple, pecans and marshmallows. Chill. Serve in lettuce-lined bowl. Makes 5-6 ervings.
