    List of Ingredients




    2 cups good-quality (preferably Heinz) ketchup
    2 tablespoons tomato paste
    1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
    3 tablespoons molasses
    Several drop Tabasco sauce, or to taste
    1/2 cup cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon dry mustard, mixed to a paste with 2 teaspoons cold water
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    1 fresh jalapeno pepper, tirmmed and minced, optional
    1/4 cup minced fresh pineapple, or rinsed and drained canned pineapple

    Recipe



    Mix all the ingredients except the pineapple in a medium-size bowl, making sure they are thoroughly combined. Then stir in the pineapple, and adjust the seasonings to taste. Use immediately or ladle into hot sterilized canning jars and seal according to the lid manufacturer's instructions.
    1 1/2 pints.
