Creamy Horseradish Sauce
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 shallot, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup grated fresh horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon greshly ground white pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepperRecipe
1. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over moderate heat. Add the minced shallot and garlic and saute until softened but not browned, about 2 minutes.
2. Add the heavy cream and the horseradish. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer until the sauce is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon 12 to 15 minutes.
3. Season with the salt, white pepper and cayenne.
