    List of Ingredients





    1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter
    1 finely chopped onion
    1 teaspoon celery flakes
    1 teaspoon parsley
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
    1/8 teaspoon mace
    3/4 teaspoon paprika
    3/4 pound fresh shrimp, chopped into bite-size pieces
    3 tablespoons flour
    2 3/4 cup milk
    1 cup cream
    Dash of sherry

    Recipe



    Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion, celery flakes, parsley, salt, pepper, mace, paprika and shrimp. Simmer until shrimp is tender.
    Stir in flour and cook about 2 minutes, stirring. Gradually add milk and cream and simmer a few minutes until warm. Lace with a dash of sherry and serve.
    Serves four.
    Nutrition values per serving: 646 calories, 52 g fat, 20 g carbohydrates, 1 g fiber, 26 g protein, 296 mg cholesterol, 868 mg sodium.
