Carrots Madeira
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 pounds carrots, scraped and cut into julienne sticks
1/4 cup Madeira wine
1 teaspoon salt
6 sprigs fresh parsley, minced
1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon leavesRecipe
Combine butter, carrots, wine and salt in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Drain well; sprinkle with parsley and tarragon. Yield 6 servings.
