Recipe Introduction
This tasty recipe comes from a nurse-friend who used to sell PAMPERED CHEF. She prepared it on the round baking stone. I love my baking stone....it bakes everything wonderfully and no sticking!
List of Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cans crescent rolls
2-3 Tablesp. water
shredded lettuce
chopped onion and tomatoe
taco sauce/salsa
sour creamRecipe
Brown ground beef & drain well. Return to skillet. Add taco seasoning and water and cook as diredted on packet. Meanwhile, arrange crescent rolls in a sunburst pattern on round 13 inch baking stone (or large pizza pan).place the crescent roll wedges in a circle, (in a sunburst pattern) on round 13 inch baking stone (or large pizza pan),wide side of wedge towards the middle, pointed end towards the outside.
Place the ground beef on the crescent rolls and wrap the pointed ends of the rolls around the meat mixture, so that it forms a ring. Top each roll with a portion of the meat mixture and cheese, and fold over in a roll fashion. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-25 minutes until rolls are golden brown.
Serve with toppings.
