    Chocolate Fudge Filling

    3/4 cup sugar
    2 Tbls. flour
    1 Tbls. unsweetened cocoa
    dash salt
    3/4 cup milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbls. butter
    1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Combine dry ingredients; mix well. Gradually stir in milk. Add egg, butter, and unsweetened chocolate. Cook over medium heat until very thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Fills two 8 or 9 inch layers. This is wonderful between chocolate layers and easily doubled.
