List of Ingredients
1 c. milk
1 T. butter melted
1 c. all purpose flour
1/4 t. salt
2 eggs
Recipe
All ingredients need to be at room temp before you begin. Beat milk, butter, flour and salt together. Blend in eggs, one at a time, being sure not to over beat. Fill buttered large muffin pans 3/4 full; don't overfill. Bake at once in a 450* oven for 15 minutes, then lower the temp to 350* and bake about 20 minutes longer. To test doneness, remove a popover to be sure the side walls are firm. If not cooked long enough, the popover will collapse. You will want to insert a sharp paring knife into the other popovers to let the steam escape after baking.
