    I've made these on Christmas Eve several times, and my family always requests them. They go so fast that everyone complains that I didn't make enough. The sauce is terrific (and easy).

    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs. shrimp, cleaned and shelled

    Rub:
    1/4 t. red pepper flakes
    2 t. paprika
    1 t. thyme
    1/2 t. each white and black pepper
    1/2 t. ground red pepper.
    1 t. ground cumin

    Marinade:
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced fine

    Recipe



    Mix rub ingredients well. Shake shrimp in spices until well coated. Pour marinade over shrimp and allow to sit in marinade at least30 minutes.

    Place 4-6 shrimp, depending on size on each skewer. Grill 3 minutes on each side until browned but still moist.

    Serve with the following dip:
    1/2 c. good quality catsup
    1 T. mustard
    1/2 t. ground cumin
