    Chicken Chile Cheesecake

    Source of Recipe

Had this one for years. Not idea where I got it

    Recipe Introduction

I made this for an appetizer one family get-together. It was a hit, but not inexpensive to make. This one takes a little time, too.

    List of Ingredients

1 1/3 cup finely crushed tortilla chips
    1/4 cup melted butter
3 large packages creamed cheese, softened
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. chile powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    3 Tbs. minced green onion
1 1/2 cups finely shredded cooked chicken
2 4 ounce cans chopped green chilies, drained
1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 16 ounce carton sour cream
    1 tsp. seasoned sale
    Minced green onions for garnish
    Picante sauce

    Recipe

Combine chips and butter and press into bottom and 1 inch up sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Sir in chile powder salt, and onion. Pour half of mixture into pan. Sprinkle in chicken, chiles, and cheese. Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce to 300 degrees and bake for 1 hours on until set.
