    Citrus and Spice Pound Cake

    This makes a really nice, moist pound cake with a citrus 'kick'.

    List of Ingredients




    1 spice cake mix (2 layer size)
    4 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1/3 c. water
    4 T. sugar

    Recipe



    Mix together all ingredients in medium mixing bowl. Mix 2 minutes on high speed with hand mixer. Mixture will be thick. Pour into greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.

    Ice as follows:

    1 to 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp orange zest
    1/2 tsp lemon zest
    1 T. fresh lemon juice
    1-2 T. orange juice
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt.

    Make a thin pourable glaze from above ingredients. Pour half over cake while it is still warm. After cooling about 15 minutes pour the rest of glaze over cake. Cool completely. Serves 12
