Recipe Introduction
When you serve this, just make sure you have plenty of cream cheese and crackers as it is hard to quit eating. I always use the Neufchatel or low-fat cream cheese. NEVER the no-fat as that = no taste! LOL!
I give this away as gifts at Christmas time in a basket with a block of cream cheese and crackers. I love those new Club dipping crackers. Just perfect for dipping.
List of Ingredients
16 oz. apple jelly
16 oz. pineapple jelly (or whatever you can find)
5-6 Tbsp. dry mustard
5-6 Tbsp. horseradish
Mix together. I put back into the jelly jars and refrigerate for 12-24 hours to allow the flavors to marry. This stuff lasts forever...well, it CAN last forever, but never seems to last very long around here!
To serve, pour about 1 - 1 1/2 cups over a block of cream cheese. Serve with plenty of dipping crackers.
This is also good served with ham or pork or a sandwich spread.
