1 lb. butter
2 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 to 3 confectioner's sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
1/4 lb. paraffin
Cream shortening and peanut butter by hand (have shortening soft). Add vanilla and 10X sugar. When well mixed, shape into balls. Melt chocolate and paraffin in double boiler. Dip balls in chocolate mixture using 2 forks. Place on waxed paper. Makes around 125 balls. You may top with pecan half as soon as dipped if desired. These balls freeze well.
