    Butter Tarts
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1 cup corn syrup - Boil to-gether for five minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup butter. Let cool and add 2 well beaten eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. salt.. Fill unbaked shells 2/3 full and bake at 350°.
    Optional: 3/4 cup raisins or 3/4 cup walnuts.
