Lattice-Topped Chicken Bake**Pampered Chef
1 package (16 oz) frozen vegetable combination (such as broccoli, carrots and cauliflower)
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 can (14 3/4 oz) chicken gravy
1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. In a 4 QT casserole, cook frozen vegetables according to package directions; drain. Stir in all remaining ingredients except crescent rolls.
2. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through; spoon into 9" baking dish.
3. On a cutting board, unroll crescent dough; separate into 2 rectangles. Press perforations and seams together to seal. Use a pizza cutter, cut each rectangle lengthwise into four 1" wide strips; place over chicken mixture in lattice pattern, folding under ends of strips at edges of baking dish.
Bake 20-25 mins or until golden brown.
Yield: 6 servings
Tip: You may also choose to use left over turkey after the holidays instead of cooked chicken. If you do this, of course, use turkey gravy instead of chicken gravy.Recipe
