    Monteagle Inn Bed & Breakfast in TN

    List of Ingredients




    1 onion - chopped
    1 - 8 oz. pkg. sliced mushrooms
    1 stick margarine
    1 cup milk
    6 eggs - beaten
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese (grated)
    24 oz. cottage cheese
    1 1/2 cups Bisquick
    1 teaspoon parsley (dried)
    1/2 teaspoon basil (dried)
    1 to 1 1/2 lbs. sausage - crumbled and browned

    DIRECTIONS:
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

    Sauté onion and mushrooms in margarine.
    Mix other ingredients together with onion and mushrooms.
    Pour into a Pammed 9/13 baking dish.
    Generously scatter browned sausage on top of dish before baking.
    Sprinkle top with cayenne pepper.

    Bake 1 hour.

    MAKES 12 servings.
