    Oh yeah! Steak burgers, melted cheese, WOW


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs Very lean ground sirloin, at room temperature
    • 4 T Softened butter
    • 1 lb White cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 1 C Sour cream
    • 1/4 C Mayonnaise
    • 6 Green onions, minced
    • 1 - 5 Fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced, to taste
    • 2 T lemon juice
    • 1 t White pepper
    • Pinch of salt
    • Tabasco Brand, Chipotle tabasco sauce to taste
    • 8 Monterey Pepper Jack Cheese slices


    Instructions


    1. Mix beef with butter and form into 4 thick, solid patties. Refrigerate one hour. While beef is chilling prepare the topping.
    2. TOPPING:
    3. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
    4. After chilling the beef patties season them with salt and pepper on both sides.
    5. Cook them in a pan until the desired doneness (rare, medium rare etc.)
    6. Top each patty with a slice of Monterey pepper jack cheese and allow to melt.
    7. Top each patty with the cheese spread mixture and allow it to melt over the burger.
    8. Serve with your favorite burger toppings, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, mustard, etc.
