Recipe Introduction
Can be used for chicken, steak, chops, seafood, or vegetables. This is easy and very good!
List of Ingredients
- 4 - 5 Thin steak, chicken, fish cutlets/fillets
- 2 Eggs
- 2 T cream
- 1 t basil
- Pepper to taste
- 1 -2 T Chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 C grated romano, enough to make thick batter
- Oil to deep fry battered items in
Instructions
- Mix all batter ingredients together until blended. Heat oil until very HOT.
- Dip the meat/fish/vegetable into the batter coating it well.
- Place battered items only a couple at a time into the hot oil and fry until completely done and outside is golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with either a red, or butter-wine sauce. Or try some fresh squeezed lemon juice and grated cheese
- If you have extra batter leftover, drop by spoonfuls into the hot oil and fry for a delicious treat!
Final Comments
This is absolutely outstanding, I use lemon/cream/capers to make a sauce and it's soooooooo goooooooooood!
