    CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE WITH LIQUID
    COOL WHIP

    PREPARE YELLOW CAKE MIX AS DIRECTED IN A RECTANGULAR CAKE PAN. (I USE THE BUTTER RECIPE TYPE MIX.)
    AFTER REMOVING THE CAKE FROM THE OVEN PUNCH LOTS OF HOLES ALL OVER THE CAKE WITH A FORK. (OR MAKE BIG HOLES W/ THE HANDLE OF A WOODEN SPOON). POUR CREAM OF COCONUT OVER CAKE. SPREAD 1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE WITH LIQUID OVER CAKE.
    AFTER CAKE COOLS:
    COVER WITH COOL WHIP.
    SPRINKLE COCONUT FLAKES OVER THE TOP.
