1 CUP SUGAR
2 TEASPOONS LEMON PEEL GRATED
2 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE
1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/2 TEASPOON SALT

MIX FLOUR MARGARINE AND POWDERED SUGAR TOGETHER. PRESS INTO BOTTOM AND SIDES OF UNGREASED 8X8 PAN. BAKE 20 MINUTES.
BEAT REMAINING INGREDIENTS UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. POUR INTO HOT CRUST. BAKE 25 MINUTES UNTIL SPRINGY. CUT INTO SQUARES AND DUST WITH POWDERED SUGAR.
