    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lb Round Steak
    • 2 Clove Garlic, Minced
    • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 9 Tablespoons Flour
    • 3 Onions, Sliced
    • 1/4 Cup Butter
    • 3 1/2 Cups Beef Stock
    • 3 Stalks Celery,Diced
    • 2 Carrots , Peeled and diced
    • Salt to Taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme


    Instructions


    1. Rub the steak with garlic, seasoned salt and the pepper.
    2. Dredge steak in flour and pound flour into the meat on both sides.
    3. Brown the onions in butter in a heavy skillet and remove them to drain on a paper towel
    4. Add the meat and brown well on both sides
    5. Return the onions to meat along with the stock, celery
      and carrot. Add salt,and herbs.
    6. Cover and simmer until meat is fork tender, about
      2-1/2 hours.
    7. Thicken the gravy with flour.
