Breaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich
Recipe Introduction
These are very basic and simple to make, but they will please a whole crowd of hungry WHIZBANG'S
List of Ingredients
- 1 Small Prok Tenderloin -Cut onto 1/4 inch thick slices
- 1 Cup White Flour
- 1 Cup Fine yellow cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 Cup milk
- 1Teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic salt
- 1 Dash Red pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Pound each slice of pork between two sheets of wax paper until very thin (no more than 1/8 inch thick
- In a bowl mix Egg, and milk
- Mix Flour, cornmeal, onion powder, garlic salt, and red pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to frying temp. about 375f
- Dredge each slice of pork in the flour then in the liquid and back in the flour.
- Fry in hot oil turning once until golden brown. These only take a minute to fry.
- Drain on paper. Serve on a toasted sandwich bun with mustard and a slice of pickle.
