The Best Pumpkin Pie

List of Ingredients
1 unbaked piecrust large enough to fill a deep 10" Pyrex pie plate
4 large eggs
2 cups pureed pumpkin
1 cup light-brown sugar
1 Tablespoon blackstrap molasses
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup light cream
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger (stir it up to get rid of lumps)
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Recipe
Beat the eggs and stir all the remaining ingredients (pumpkin through spices) together well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 to 40 minutes until done.
It's done when the center has solidified. Knife test.
Remove from oven to a rack; let cool to room temperature before refrigerating. Serve refrigerated, with whipped cream.
