6 1/2 cups watermelon juice
9 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 box sur-jell
Recipe
Take a good ripe watermelon and scoop it into
a bowl.
Squeeze out the juice and measure out
the 6 1/2 cups of juice,
put it in a large kettle and add the lemon juice
and the sur-jell,
bring this to a full rolling boil and add your
sugar. then boil for one or two more minutes.
then put it in your pint jars and seal them.
Process in a water cooker and
cover them with hot water, and boil them for
ten minutes to make sure they seal good.
10 cups or 5 pints
