List of Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 ounce unsweetened baking chocolate square
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts -- chopped
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese (RESERVE 2 oz. for icing) softened
- 1/2 stick butter softened
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup nuts chopped
- 6 ounce package chocolate chips
- 2 cups marshmallows
- 1/2 stick butter
- (RESERVED 2 oz. of cream cheese)
- 1 ounce chocolate
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
Instructions
- Step 1 (ingredients 1-8)
First melt chocolate and butter. Then add all other ingredients. Mix until smooth. Spread in bottom of a 9x13 greased pan.
- Step 2 (ingredients 9-15)
Filling:
Cream together 6 oz. cream cheese and butter. Add all other ingredients, except chocolate chips. Beat until fluffy. Spread this over mixture already in the pan. Next, sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until brown in a 350 oven.
- Step 3 (ingredient 16)
When mixture in Step 2 is done, spread marshmallows on top and put back in oven for 2 minutes.
- Step 4 (ingredients 17-21)
Icing:
Mix icing while bars are baking. Melt butter, cheese and chocolate with the milk. Add sugar and beat until smooth. While bars are hot, pour chocolate icing over marshmallows and work into marshmallows until you have a complete chocolate icing.
