    Sour Cream sugar shaped cookies

    2 C. sugar
    1 C. butter
    1 C. butter-flavored Crisco
    1 8oz. Package Cream Cheese
    1 t. salt
    1 t. almond extract
    1 t. vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    4½ C. flour

    Recipe



    Cream sugar with butter. Add eggs to this mixture, then add the cream cheese. Beat till smooth. Add salt & extracts until blended in. Add the flour. Mix all until ingredients are blended. Refrigerate dough overnight( or add more flour until batter is not tacky)

    Preheat oven to 350º

    Roll dough to 1/4 to 1/2" thick onto floured surface. Cut out with your favorite cookie cutters. I like the "hollow" cookie cutters the best.(Not the plastic ones with the pattern on them).Bake for 10 min. or till edges are slightly browned. Cool then frost (I use Betty Crockers Cream Cheese Frosting). You can use sprinkles on them while frosting is wet to add color.
