Fitzhugh's Chicken & Dumplings

Cook and debone a 5-6 lb. chicken. Cut into bite size pieces. Reserve the broth.
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup rich broth, plus broth for dumplings
1 cup buttermilk
1 can cream of chicken soupRecipe
In a large pot bring reserved broth to a boil & drop in dumplin strips.
Gently stir with a fork & cook 12-15 minutes.
Add cream of chicken soup to chicken pieces & stir smooth,
heat this mixture in the microwave so it will be hot when added.
Add to dumplings & broth, stir in gently & heat through.
Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving
