    List of Ingredients




    1 1-1/2 lbs Stew Meat
    4 med potatoes, peeled and cubed
    4 med carrots, cleaned and sliced
    1 large onion chopped
    4 beef instant boullion
    2 bay leaves
    2 cups water
    2 cups beef broth

    1 cup flour
    garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste
    Small amount of oil

    Cube roast into bite size pieces. Place flour & seasonings in plastic bag. Add beef. Shake to coat. Brown in oil. Drain. Place beef in crock pot. Add vegetables, boullion, water & broth Place bay leaves on top.

    Allow to cook on high for about 6 hours. Before serving, mix cornstarch and water for thickener, Add to stew until desired thickness is reached.

    (Other vegetables can be added. This is also great using chicken and chicken broth in place of the beef and beef broth.)
