Brickle Pecan Bars

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (6 oz.) pkg. almond brickle chips
1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture evenly into a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes.
Combine condensed milk, egg, and vanilla, stirring well. Stir in brickle chips and pecans; pour mixture over crust. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until golden. Let cool and cut into bars. Yield: 4 dozen bars.
