    CRUST:
    1 box lemon cake mix
    1 stick butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg

    TOPPING:
    1 (16 oz.) box confectioner's sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon extract

    Recipe



    Mix crust ingredients and press into a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Beat topping ingredients until smooth, and pour on top of cake mixture. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350° F. Cut into squares while still warm. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
