Orange Marmalade Bars

2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup lemon juice
Recipe
Combine oats, flour, nuts, brown sugar and baking powder in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in butter or margarine to make a crumbly mixture. Pat 2/3 of the mixture in bottom of a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Combine sweetened condensed milk, marmalade and lemon juice in a small bowl; spread over crumb layer. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake in moderate oven at 350° F. for 45 minutes or until crumbs are golden. Cool in pan or wire racks. Cut into 24 squares. Refrigerate until serving.
