Firehouse Pepper and Onion Steak

2 lb. round steak
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tblsp. grated ginger
2 Tblsp. coarse ground black pepper
1 or 2 onions, sliced
2 green peppers, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
2 cans Campbell French onion soup
Recipe
Slice round steak into thin slices. Mix oil, garlic, ginger and black pepper in a large bowl with sliced beef and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes. Brown beef in a large skillet. Put into a large pot with green/red peppers and onions. Add French onion soup and simmer for 30 minutes on low heat. Serve over rice. Yield: 8-10 servings.
