2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tblsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 to 1-1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup dried currants
Melted butter
Cinnamon sugar
Recipe
Blend dry ingredients. Stir in cream to make a stiff dough. Stir in currants. Knead just long enough to make smooth (more than biscuits) Pat into a circle and cut into wedges. Place on a baking sheet and brush with butter; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 400° F. for 25 minutes.
