    Chocolate Brownie:
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup granulated sugar
    ½ cup (1 stick) butter
    4 eggs
    1-1/2 cups (16 oz.) chocolate-flavored syrup (like Hershey’s)

    Mint Cream:
    2 cups confectioners’ sugar
    ½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
    1 Tblsp. Water
    ½ tsp. Mint extract
    3 drops green food color

    Chocolate Icing:
    6 Tblsp. (3/4 stick) butter
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13-x9-inch baking pan.
    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for the brownie. With an electric mixer on medium speed or a spoon, mix until smooth. Pour into the pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan.

    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for Mint Cream. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until smooth. Spread over the cooled brownie. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

    In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients for the icing. Microwave on medium until melted; stir until smooth. Spread over the chilled mint cream layer. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before cutting into bars. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Yield: 32 bars.

    Tip: You can make these brownies 1 day before your party and refrigerate until ready to serve.
