    Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum Cake

    Recipe Introduction

    List of Ingredients

    1 Box of yellow or lemon cake mix
    1 Small Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
    4 eggs
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    3/4 cup Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum
    Pinch of Nutmeg

    Recipe

    Mix all together. Bake in greased pan at 350° F. oven for 30-40 minutes. Let cool covered loosely. The longer this cake sits the better it gets so you can make it ahead of time.

    Spiced Rum Frosting
    6 Tblsp. butter, softened (but not melted)
    1 lb. Confectioner Sugar
    Spiced Rum
    Pecans (optional)

    Mix butter and sugar together with enough rum to make it spreadable. Spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle with pecans if desired. Enjoy!
