    Christmas "Comfort" Cake

    List of Ingredients

    1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
    1 small package of vanilla instant pudding
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup cold water
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup nuts
    1/2 cup Southern Comfort

    Glaze:
    1/4 cup butter
    1/8 cup water
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup Southern Comfort

    Recipe

    For Cake: Combine cake ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or a 12 cup Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Cool 15 minutes. Invert onto a plate. Prick top; brush half of glaze evenly over cake top and sides. Cool cake. Reheat glaze and brush over cake. Just before serving sift powdered sugar over cake.

    For Glaze: Melt butter. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 3 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in Southern Comfort.
