- 1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
- + ingredients listed on back of cake mix package
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT EVAPORATED)
- 1 jar Caramel Ice Cream Topping
- 1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
- 3 crushed Heath Bar candy bars
Instructions
- Mix and bake cake mix according to directions on package in a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan.
- As soon as the cake comes out of the oven, poke holes all over the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Immediately pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the top of the hot cake.
- As soon as this is completed, pour the entire jar of caramel ice cream topping over the top of the sweetened condensed milk.
- Let cake cool completely.
- When cake is cooled completely, top with Cool Whip whipped topping, and then sprinkle top with crushed Heath Bars.
- Refrigerate until serving time.
