Ground Beef Corn & Tomato Pie

List of Ingredients
2 Tblsp. fat
1 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
2 cups canned tomatoes
2 cups canned corn
4 Tblsp. butter
5 Tblsp. flour
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
Pie crust, biscuits or slices of buttered bread
Recipe
Melt fat and sauté garlic and onion; stir in ground meat and brown. Add tomatoes and corn. Melt butter; stir in flour. Add these ingredients to the meat mixture; stir and cook until boiling. Season with sugar, chili powder, salt and paprika. Place in a greased, ovenproof dish. Top with piecrust, biscuits or slices of buttered bread. Place in a hot oven (425° F.) until the top is done, about 20 minutes. Serves 6.
