List of Ingredients
2 lbs. ground chuck
1 cup oats
1 medium onion chopped
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup tomato juice
dash of salt & pepper to taste
GRAVY:
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cans beef broth
Recipe
Mix well the beef, oats, onion, eggs, tomato juice, and salt & pepper. Shape into oval patties. Brown on both sides for 3-5 minutes. Pour gravy over patties. Bake at 350° F. for 1 hour.
For gravy: Whisk together soup and broth and pour over steaks.
Optional-- you can add mushrooms or grilled onions in gravy or bake on top of steaks. If you do not choose to bake in gravy, be sure to cover.
