Pineapple Cream Cake

List of Ingredients
1 cake mix, 2 layer size, white or yellow
19 oz. crushed pineapple
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 instant vanilla pudding, 4 serving size prepared
1 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup sliced almonds
Recipe
Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on package in 9 x 13 inch pan.
In saucepan stir pineapple, sugar and cornstarch together. Heat and stir until it boils and thickens. Spread on warm cake.
Prepare instant pudding as directed on package. Spoon over top of pineapple.
Whip cream until stiff. Spoon over pudding. Smooth
Sprinkle with almonds. Cuts into 15 or 18 pieces.
