Starbucks Hot Coffee Cocoa

List of Ingredients
Coffee and chocolate blended together, perfect for Christmas morning.
Serves 6-8
For the coffee:
1/2 cup ground Starbucks Christmas Blend or other dark roast coffee
4 cups water
For the cocoa:
1 cup water
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup granulated sugar
pinch of salt
3 cups milk or half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
To make the coffee, brew the measured amounts of coffee and water, using your customary method. Keep the coffee hot.
To make the cocoa, in a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the water, cocoa powder, sugar and salt. Cook, whisking constantly, until the mixture is smooth, then bring just to a boil. Add the milk and return to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Combine the hot coffee and hot cocoa. Serve in mugs or heat-resistant glasses.
