    48 servings

    List of Ingredients

1 pk Vanilla caramels; 14 oz
1/3 c Milk or heavy cream
    2 c Flour
    2 c Oats Quick or old-fashioned
    1 1/2 c Brown sugar
    1 ts Baking soda
    1/2 ts Salt
    1 Egg
    1 c butter; softend
1 c Semisweet or milk chocolate chips (or more)
1 c toasted Walnuts; chopped or dry roasted peanuts (or more)

    Recipe

Turn oven to 350 degrees. Heat carmels and milk heat, stirring frequently, until smooth; remove from heat and reserve. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Stir in egg and margarine with fork until mixture is crumbly. Press half of the mix in ungreased 13 x 9" pan. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chips and walnuts. Drizzle with caramel mix. Sprinkle remaining crumbly mix over top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 30 minutes. Loosen edges from sides of pan. Cool completely.
    Cut into 48 bars.
